Héctor Lavoe tribute featuring Sarabanda celebrating what would have been Héctor’s 80th birthday. 

Héctor Juan Pérez Martínez (September 30, 1946 – June 29, 1993) aka Héctor Lavoe often referred to simply as La Voz! He featured on many of the greatest songs and performances of the Salsa era, recording a multitude of classics under his own name – as well as jointly with Willie Colón, with songs sometimes written by Rubén Blades – and as a featured vocalist with Salsa Supergroup, the Fania All Stars

September this year would have seen his 80th birthday so we are marking the date with a set of favourite Héctor Lavoe tunes featuring the ever-wonderful Sarabanda.

Our Colombian Salsa teacher, Yamile, gets the hips moving with her all-comers Salsa Dance Class from 7.30, followed by the club night.

The DJs (on rotation) are Johnny G, Carey Lyseight and Gerry Lyseight
