| El Swing – at The Portico Pleasure Palace – where the bands and DJs love to play, and the dancers love to dance. Kalima Project has been on the Latin scene in London since 2012 and after a great show back in September they return to El Swing reloaded to take us on another ‘Journey Through Colombian Salsa’. Colombia has always been a Salsa hot spot with timeless artists like Grupo Niche, Joe Arroyo, Guayacán Orquesta, Fruko Y Sus Tesos, La Misma Gente, The Latin Brothers etc and Kalima Project will be paying their loving respects to the classic era, and repertoire, in Colombian music. So get ready for hits such is “Los Charcos, Yamulemao, Buenaventura y Caney, Titico and Un Vestido Bonito, La Rebelion, Cali Pachanguero and Juanita Ea among many others. |
Our Colombian Salsa teacher, Yamile, gets the hips moving with her all-comers Salsa Dance Class from 7.30, followed by the club night.
