In this show we said goodbye to Pharoah Sanders with three tunes: one from his most recent release alongside Floating Points; one in featured artist role with Alice Coltrane; and ended in Afrocentric Funk mode with the epic “Our Roots (Began In Africa)”; we also lost Soul Jazz legend and Mod favourite, Ramsey Lewis, and played two great tunes from him (one written by Stevie Wonder). May they RIP!
