The acclaimed, award-winning Indian novelist Amit Chaudhuricomes to London with his multi-media musical show ‘A Moment of Mishearing’, which explores the literary and musical ideas that have shaped his life and work.

Chaudhuri’s project in bringing together Indian classical music with the blues, jazz, and Western popular music led BBC 2’s Late Review to call him "upsettingly multi-talented".

Peter Culshaw writing in Songlines said, "We are used to intellectual, arty Westerners like David Byrne, Paul Simon or Brian Eno doing fusion – here is a Calcutta-born equivalent, and as good as any of them."

‘A Moment of Mishearing’ is a show about memory, chance, music and a city.
