Gilles Peterson is known worldwide as a varied tastemaker, jazz aficionado and purveyor of eclectic club beats. He’ll be bringing his ‘join-the-dots’ DJ stylings to Sunsplash for the third year in a row.
Jose James, winner of countless jazz awards and plaudits, is set to stun the sun-soaked crowd with his incredible live set combining hip-hop and dance beats with honeyed jazz vocals.
Theo Parrish’s DJ sets are renowned for their genre-spanning scope – from deep house to soul and back again via a little disco – and why not? Whatever he plays, this legendary producer and DJ will have you dancing non-stop.
Norman Jay spins vibrant house music with a side-serving of soul and funk. With a regular set at Notting Hill Carnival and an MBE for services to music under his belt, you can be sure of a right royal party.
Mad Professor is widely know as one of the great reggae/dub producers, working with Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Sly and Robbie and Horace Andy before branching out into electronica with The Orb and Massive Attack. Get ready for an unforgettable set.
Restless Soul Phil Asher adds a little techno to proceedings; expertly mixed with house and soul to keep you dancing ‘til the sun comes up again.

Cliffy is the renowned specialist in Brazilian and future world funk.
Lefto brings a little samba, hip hop and jazz to the mix.

Tim Sweeney, curator of New York’s Beats In Space broadcast and soundtrack supervisor for Rockstar Games, will be showcasing the best new dance music around.
