We kicked off with a couple of favourite classics from the recently departed Frankie Beverly (RIP) with Maze, of course!
Featured a few tunes highlighting the late Ska, Jazz, Reggae, Bluebeat and 2 Tone trombone legend Rico Rodriguez MBE ahead of my Mambista “Rico at 90’ event on Saturday October 26th.
There were two contributions from La Reina, Celia Cruz, from her huge and superlative catalogue. Celia would have been 99 this month.
