No matter what else is going on in the world El Swing will always be the spot where great music meets great people.
El Swing kicks off 2026 with the big bang of Orquesta Mambarito who get tougher and tighter from gig to gig. Serving up red-hot classics from 70s New York, Colombia, Puerto Rico and beyond! Expect high energy and ritmo caliente designed for the dancefloor!
Bandleader David Strahan (baritone sax) brought the group together. Their name is a combination of ‘mambo’ and ‘baritono’ (Spanish for baritone). Orquesta Mambarito come equipped with a full force brass section, heavy percussion unit, unrelenting rhythm section, and an excellent 3-piece vocal frontline with accompanying high-stepping dance moves. Time to get back into the El Swing of things!

Our Colombian Salsa teacher, Yamile, gets the hips moving with her all-comers Salsa Dance Class from 7.30, followed by the club night.
The DJs (on rotation) are Johnny G, Carey Lyseight and Gerry Lyseight
