The run up to Christmas was pretty hectic so belatedly doing my best to get up to date with uploading my shows. This one includes some of my fave 2024 releases alongside a few oldies.

There’s never a bad time to play Joni Mitchell but “River” is an alternative Christmas song for those who are having a hard time while big business is telling you to be merry and bright, which is impossible for many for all kinds of reasons.
Jalen Ndonga seems to be on the brink of ‘crossing over’ after around 2 years of vintage retro soul releases. Not revolutionary but a very high standard and Jalen is a stablemate of Thee Sacred Souls on the legendary Daptone record label.
Two of my favourite 2024 releases are featured: Isaiah Collier & the Chosen Few – Pharaoh Sanders meets Rahsaan Roland Kirk – and Jimetta Rose & the Voices of Creation with their funky Gospel community choir attitude.
