A descarga (literally ‘discharge’ in Spanish) is a Salsa jam session based around Salsa rhythms and The Great Salsa Songbook. The wonderfully ubiquitous Sara McGuinness and her Sarabanda make up the core live outfit alongside musician friends, plus probable contributions from DJ Johnny G on Cow Bell and Gerry Lyseight on clave!!

Our Colombian Salsa teacher, Yamile, gets the hips moving with her all-comers Salsa Dance Class from 7.30, followed by the club night with El Swing DJs and live band.

The DJs (on rotation): Johnny G, Carey Lyseight and Gerry Lyseight have hosted some of London’s most legendary club nights: Salsa Fusión, Latin Swing at Wessex House, Mango Landin’ and  Mambo Inn.

7.30 – 8.30: Yamile leads her swinging all-comers Salsa Dance Class
