El Swing attracts a friendly crowd of dancers and Salsa lovers. 

Wil Sifontes – from Caracas Venezuela – is one of the UK’s most accomplished, outstanding, and prolific percussionists, and his Latin Sound project explores an infectious, rhythmic, and authentic approach to the Latin American repertoire. Wil is renowned for his border-hopping approach whilst delivering an array of different musical Latin styles, and keeping the dance floor bubbling. 

Wil also runs the larger Conjunto Sabroso band and has backed many of Salsa’s biggest stars (Henry Fiol, Adalberto Santiago, Tito Gomes) and played some of the most prestigious festivals (Glastonbury, North Sea, Womad).

Our Colombia-born Salsa teacher, Yamile, gets the hips moving with her all-comers Salsa Dance Class from 7.30, followed by the club night.

The DJs (on rotation): Johnny G, DJ Carey and Gerry Lyseight have hosted some of London’s most legendary club nights: Salsa Fusión, Latin Swing at Wessex House, Mambo Inn.
