Son De Habana specialise in Cuban Salsa, Timba, Son and Rumba and are led by Ernesto Estruch on crucial keyboards and vivacious violin. 

Time to Timba, Come ready to rumba.

The group formed in 2009 in London inspired by contemporary timba sounds, Latin Jazz and Rumba and a shared love for artists such as Marc Anthony, Celia Cruz, Oscar D’León, Luis Enrique, Los Van Van amongst others. Their unique style fuses a dance oriented Cuban sound with great vocal harmonies and punchy horn lines.

Now hailed as London’s Best Salsa party band by Latin Music magazine, The band have played at many prestigious venues all over the UK including all the major Latin festivals in London as well as Ronnie Scott’s, the Jazz Cafe and El Swing at The Portico! 

A great El Swing experience is guaranteed, as always! 

We begin the evening with a salsa dance class led by the wonderful Yamile and DJ sets from your resident selectors spinning the hottest new salsa dura to the deepest, classic Fania and all the amazing stuff in between.
